BY NANCY DANIELS — The recent awards dinner of the International Association of Business Communications (IABC) Hawaii chapter was a fun and, as it turned out, a very rewarding event for the PR and social media teams of the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach and Embassy Suites® – Waikiki Beach Walk® hotels. It was appropriate that the awards dinner took place in the lofty environs of the newly opened Signature Prime Steak & Seafood restaurant high atop the Ala Moana Hotel as the teams were recognized with two lofty and prestigious Ilima Awards for PR and social media campaigns executed last year.
